Darren, his middle name, is what all of his family called him. He was one of the best person I have known. He was my only brother, my baby brother. He is survived by his mother, three sisters and his father. We all grew up so close and that closeness never diminished no matter how far away from him we may have been. We loved when he came home, because we all reverted to our childish behavior. Joking around and play fighting and teasing each other. That was our relationship. It is still difficult to believe that he is gone but we know that he will forever live on in our lifetime of memories. He was a special person with a light within him that touched everyone he met. Those who knew him for a little while can only know a little of the devastation that his family is experiencing. We have memories of him from since he was a little boy and the hurt is so deep and spans many years of interaction. We love you SGT. Dayne Dhanoolal. You will forever be our little boy, our Jap, our Beedo. With much tears and heart break your loving family in Texas. We will forever be connected...blood of my blood...spit of my spit. hahaha. Love you bro.

Thanks for your post. I'm very sorry for your loss. This is exactly the type of response I am looking for to this blog. I want people to see more than politics and presidents.... I want them to see people, real people with families that are missing that significant person in thier lives. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
