TJ did what he wanted to do, serve his country as his dad did and that's me. The father of TJ, U.S.A.F. 74-78. I was so proud of my son, he wanted to be just like his dad, go military then go into law enforcement He will never see that part of his dream come true. On Sunday, December 28, 08 at 2045 hrs my wifes life and mine change forever. We are a strong christian family and my wife and I know that TJ is now at peace with God. I will miss him so. Part of me died with him on that day. I have loved you all your life and will love you forever in my mind and heart. My God continue to watch over all who serve and let the others who have paid the price stand down and rest. They have done their duty. I love you so very much TJ. Daddio

I love the Gonzales family.
The news of TJ's death has left me heartbroken. I've cried and prayed for Tony and Marlynn and for TJ's sisters. I cannot begin to know the depths of their grief.
Only God can comfort at a time like this.
Our only hope comes from seeing our loved ones again, and I thank God that we will see TJ again.
I am so proud of him. What a remarkable young man! TJ is an American hero who paid the ultimate price. He has my respect and admiration.
Tony's comment above is one of the most touching things I've ever read.
I promise to continue to hold the Gonzales family up in prayer. I know there will be very dark days ahead, so I pray that the prayers of family and friends will sustain them and help them deal with this tragedy.
