Sgt. 1st. Class Shawn M. Suzch, Staff Sgt. Ernesto G. Cimarrusti, Staff Sgt. David D. Julian, Cpl. Robert T. McDavid, Cpl. Scott A. McIntosh

The Department of Defense announced today the death of five soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

They died March 10 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device. They were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga.

Killed were:

Sgt. 1st. Class Shawn M. Suzch, 32, of Hilltown, Penn.
Staff Sgt. Ernesto G. Cimarrusti, 25, of Douglas, Ariz.
Staff Sgt. David D. Julian, 31, of Evanston, Wyo.
Cpl. Robert T. McDavid, 29, of Starkville, Miss.
Cpl. Scott A. McIntosh, 26, of Houston, Texas.

SFC Shawn Suzch and his wife Angela are the god parents to my son Nico, they were there for me and now I will be there for Angela , we will miss you Shawn and I promise to be there for Angela for always!
